A crazy night in Quezon City...part 1

Actually it started in the Quiapo where myself, Seng and Luke spent Sunday afternoon walking through the massive street market which stretches over four blocks. We then headed over to the Quiapo church which, although it is massive, was packed to the brim...so much so that people stood outside and watched a mass on jumbotron in an adjacent square.

There we waited for another friend of Seng who would accompany us to Manila's Chinatown where we would have a dinner. It took an hour though before my three friends could reach consensus on the authenticity of the Chinese restaurants. We eventually settled on a restaurant but not before we had to tell the Filipino waiters that their cutlery was chipped- which I found utterly shocking.

We had a massive meal afterwhich I felt like swollen pig ready at the slaughterhouse with a butcher looking on with his glistening knife. We rolled out of there and headed back to Quezon Avenue where our friends share an apartment in a subdivision....the story didn't end there though.
