By now everyone midly interested in world politics has heard about the Palistinian election result.
Hamas suprisingly emerged victorious from a race that seemed certain to return a corrupt Fatah to power of PA...well, only problem is Palestinians didn't exactly follow the script prepared for them in Washington.
Reading the newspapers, blogs, and anything sensible that I could lay my eyes on I've come to the conclusion that this is not the sort of democracy Bush had in mind when he set about "freeing" the Middle East four years ago.
Well, all I can say is "deal with it"...Hamas was elected by the Palestinians, Bush and his co-horts better start beating a path down to Ramallah.
