Got myself a new toy last night...
The cool thing about having a Toys R Us store around the corner from the crib is that there is never an excuse not to spend some cash...yesterday I did exactly that.I was going to pick up my laundry from the laundromat when I popped into my favourite store(for now, at least) and saw that they had dropped the price of the PS2 console...I immediately made plans to buy it there and then. Came back from the laundromat and picked up my new toy along the way.
I got home, unpacked the thing as my girlfriend gave me an disapproving glance. "Is that thing going to come in the way now?" She asked as I assembled all the parts.
To appease the woman, I decided to hire two movies...I told her I'd go to the bar around the corner to watch the Arsenal-Villareal match. Arsenal won the two-legged semifinal by a single goal...brilliant penalty save by Jens Lehman to force a result.
